This photo from a couple years ago didn’t jump out at me as anything special. I started to play with it in Photoshop and what we ended up with is hanging on our living room wall as an expensively framed 24” x 36” art print.
Incredible isn’t it? Click for larger. The cool part is, if you look at the first shot, all the colors are in there. I didn’t ADD anything to the photo, I just enhanced what was already there. (then converted it into a watercolour…)
Oh, Halloween was a BLAST today too! Traci loves decorating and I love her for it! The boy enjoyed it too.
One more thing, sorry. It is Nov 1st here in Calgary and our forecast is spectacular for this time of year. It is presenting a problem though. The Lilac shrubs are budding out. Not good.
The last time I danced was to Dead Or Alive - at least 6 years ago. I made the DJ play it twice (it was my wife's sister's wedding and it was late, so I had sufficient juice with the DJ at that point).
ReplyDeleteYep I was hammered. In fact all my dancing memories are tagged with a follow up hangover, except for maybe my wedding.
Awww. Mickey is so cute!
ReplyDeleteCongrats to the Winners. I too am a winner - I got my Cool Kids T-shirt in the mail just in time for my birthday. I don't if I can put a picture here, so please check me a photo of me wearing my new shirt on http://sherunsinsandals.blogspot.com/2010/11/im-cool-kid.html
ReplyDeleteSilly lilacs.
ReplyDeleteHoly moley, I have 5 of those songs on my playlist...I love those tunes (well except Tiffany, sorry). The boy looks absolutely adorable, as always. Missed you yesterday on the LSD but you made the right call for you.
ReplyDeleteZOMG!11! What a scary costume. Because I consider Diznee's Rickey Ratt to be one of the MOST EVIL HORROR CHARACTERS of all time!
ReplyDeleteTommy Tutone, "867-5309/ Jenny" to be all completist about it. Don't know why you left off the "artist" for that one. That was a real phone number, too. People called it after the song came out and when they asked for "Jenny" they usually got irate phone customers telling them NOT TO CALL HERE AGAIN. That's why TV shows always use the (fictional) "555-" exchange.
Some magazine did a piece on the band, and as payback on behalf of all the inconvenienced owners of the number 867-5309 the writer published the home phone numbers of all the band members.
That's probably why they never had another hit.
You little boy looks so cute! I love the jack-lanterns too.
ReplyDeleteYou are so lucky with the forecast. We are freezing this week here. I'll have to remember to call it "brisk" it sounds slightly better that way!
Spud was the exact same Mickey! Minus the black nose, though, since he would have absolutely spazzed had I tried to do that to him... He actually got extra candy at multiple houses for squeaking the ears - people are suckers!
ReplyDeleteLove little Mickey! Oh and your marshmallow tooth jack is sweet!
