Mile 24.2… too tired

Figured tonight is the .2 night as I am wiped. Only 2 miles to go. What do you want to know?

I ran 6k barefoot. Feels fantastic. No blisters, hot spots, still a bit stiff, but nothing compared to 2 weeks ago. My Blue VFF KSOs split a seam on the big toe, took them back to Fitter1 and they refunded me my money in full. Went to MEC and picked up a black pair of KSOs for $10.00 cheaper. In stock, most sizes, 2 colors to choose from. Sweet.

  • Barefoot mileage since June 29th : 56.2km *WooT*
  • VFF mileage since July 7th : 11.8km
  • Shoe mileage since SOBF (start of barefoot): 5km (25:30 5k race PR on July 1st)

Hey, all you have to do to for a chance to win an awesome running shirt is go here, go to the bottom and comment as requested! Contest ends July 30.

  1. Glad that worked out for you. I would love to get the new Remix red option.
A friend told me I could return my Sprints to REI but I do not believe the shoe was at fault in my case. Although I know REI would honor the return.
